Swimming Pool & Spa Maintenance Agreement
Aquatic Pool and Spa Services agrees to clean the pool and/or spa at the location stated above. Chemicals and the following are included:
Emptying pump
Brushing Pool Walls
Lubrication of O-ring as needed
Test water poolside weekly
Add necessary chemicals
Visual equipment inspection
Vacuum pool as needed
Backwash DE Filter monthly
Adjust pool /spa water levels
Insurance: All pool service and maintenance personnel are permanent employees of Aquatic Pool and Spa Services. All Aquatic Pool and Spa Services Employees are uniformed.
Normal Equipment Repairs: Maintenance customers will receive preferential treatment when scheduling or performing any necessary equipment repairs.
Additional Services: Your pool cleaning unit may need occasional tuning; you will be notified for any small parts needed for approval prior to installing any parts.
Cartridge and DE Filter Cleaning We require that your filter be cleaned every 6 months. We offer our maintenance customers a discounted price of $169.00 + tax. All filter cleaning is performed by our tech every 6 months automatically unless you notify us. All other filters will be cleaned as needed and the customer will be notified prior to.
Customer Responsibility: Clear access to pool area including gate entry, codes, lock combinations, and/or security guard verification. Pool must be uncovered on days of maintenance. Monitor pool / spa water level in between visits. Aquatic Pool and Spa Services will not be responsible for any water overflow. Aquatic Pool and Spa Services will not waive any fee due to low water causing pool tech on non-serviceable pool. If Aquatic Pool and Spa Services is unable to service a pool due to issues relating to the client (e.g., locked gates, dogs left outside, etc.), we will attempt to reschedule the service for the same or following day.
Emergency Service: Weekly maintenance does not include emergency trips or chemicals to repair pool conditions caused by hurricanes, rain, windstorms, vandalism, or damage beyond Aquatic Pool and Spa Services control. A separate one-time charge will be assessed to repair these conditions.
Holiday Policy: Aquatic Pool and Spa Services will not provide pool maintenance services on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day thru Sunday, and Christmas week. There will not be credits on holidays with no service- this is why we do not charge extra for months with 5 visits for service. If a holiday falls on a regularly scheduled service day, service will be rescheduled either before or after the holiday.
Freeze Policy: If the weather forecast calls for a number of icy or snowy weather days, we will do our best to reschedule your service, however we cannot guarantee that your pool will be serviced.
Pets: We will make every effort to contain your animal(s) while entering and leaving your yard however if your pets are prone to escaping, we suggest you restrain them on service days or coordinate with our team to text you when we’re on the way. We will not be held responsible for any dog or pet escapes.
Algae-Free Guarantee: While we strive to maintain crystal clear pools, mistakes happen and algae may develop. If algae development was caused by a service-related issue such as improper chemistry, we will make extra visits with algae-removing chemicals to remove it at no cost to you. If algae develops due to an issue relating to improper maintenance or delayed repairs, an extra fee may be incurred to correct your pool. We will take each situation on a case-by-case basis.
Repair Policy: Repairs are not included in the monthly service fee. Repairs under $50 will be performed immediately if parts are readily available and on hand during the time of the weekly maintenance visit. Repairs greater than $50 shall require customer authorization in advance of the repair.
Service Call Policy: Service calls are not included in the monthly service fee. In the event that the client experiences an issue with their pool outside of regular maintenance hours, Aquatic Pool and Spa Services offers emergency services at the additional cost. The client can request emergency service by calling our office directly at (830) 783-1333.
Equipment Installation & Ownership Policy: Any pool equipment supplied and installed by Aquatic Pool and Spa Services such as pool pumps, motors, filters, heaters, etc. remain the property of Aquatic Pool and Spa Services until full payment has been made by the customer. If for any reason the customer is unwilling or unable to make a full payment on the equipment installed and provided by Aquatic Pool and Spa Services, we reserve the right to enter the property and remove the equipment.
Warranty: Aquatic Pool and Spa Services does not warrant any equipment beyond what is included by the manufacturer.
Late Payment Policy: If payment is not received within 15 days of the due date, service may be suspended until payment is received in full.
Liability Waiver: The client agrees to hold Aquatic Pool and Spa Services and its employees harmless from any and all liability arising from the maintenance of the pool. The client also agrees to maintain their own liability insurance for their property.
Termination Policy: Either party may terminate this contract with 30 days' written notice. If the client terminates the contract before the end of the agreed upon service period, they will be responsible for payment of all services rendered up to the date of termination.
Invoicing and Payments: If you choose not to fill out the form below with your credit card information, there will be an option for autopay on your first invoice. Autopay customers will be billed at the end of each month. Non Autopay customers will be invoiced at the beginning of each month due net 15 days from the date of the invoice.
